Kids will have fun creating with clay! In this class, kids will explore hand-building techniques while using fun textures and founds objects to design a functional tray or bowl – perfect for enjoying their favorite foods. They’ll shape their piece with wet clay, then choose a glaze color. Once dry, I’ll glaze and fire their creations. Please allow approximately two weeks for the fire process, after the pieces will be ready for pickup at The Center!

Join us for a week of creative exploration and fun. Each day we will investigate a branch of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) with projects based on a favorite Disney movie. How does Aladdin’s carpet fly? How does Moana’s boat stay afloat? Can you draw like Rafiki on tree trunks? Join and help us discover these answers and more while having creative fun!

Play-Doh making camp is for kids that like to work with their hands and have fun while doing it! An activity where your kids will learn how to make Play-Doh and get to take home what they have created.

Young athletes will sharpen their offensive and defensive skills, learn exciting plays, and put their techniques to the test in fun drills and scrimmages. Yoga helps strengthen children’s growing bodies and helps them improve their flexibility, which can reduce their chance of injury, as well as improve refined balance in kids. Poses that rely on balance promote mental clarity and physical stability, and also teaches perseverance.

These one-hour practices include focus on breathing, mobility and relaxation. The result is a student ready to take on the evening with clarity and calm.

Dana Sky Bio: Dana Sky is a Registered Yoga Teacher E-RYT 200; RYT 500 with Yoga Alliance and has been teaching yoga for nearly 10 years and has worked in the fitness industry for over 30 years

Set sail for an unforgettable fishing adventure with local fisherman Aaron Batten! In this hands-on, two-day camp, kids will spend two hours each day aboard Aaron’s fishing boat, learning the essentials of saltwater fishing. Campers will master skills like baiting hooks, casting lines, reeling in fish, and identifying different local species. Aaron will also teach important fishing techniques, knot tying, and boat safety, ensuring a fun and educational experience on the water.

Whether your child is a beginner or an experienced young angler, this camp is the perfect way to build confidence, learn new skills, and create lasting fishing memories!

Kids will have fun and learn how to take cool pictures in this fun and informative workshop taught by Jim Rimi, Island resident and professional photographer. Learn how to take interesting and unique photographs in the fun and laid back, hands on workshop. Kids start out in the classroom and then go outside for real time instruction. Jim will help and guide the children as they use their new found skills. He will also critique each child ’s photos during the workshop. Lighting, composition, shutter speed, depth of field, and new ways of seeing will be discussed. Any camera, including smart phone cameras, are welcome.

Get ready for a sparkly summer experience! Campers will have the chance to add some magic to their hair with fairy hair strands that shimmer in the sunlight. They’ll also get to show off their style with a fun glitter tattoo! While waiting their turn, kids can dance it out at our high-energy dance party, keeping the fun going all session long.

Join Evan, a local on Anna Maria Island. Over the years he has enjoyed skimboarding and surfing hurricane swells to small shore breaks. He wants to grow the sport of skimboarding here on Anna Maria Island.

Misson: I aim to encourage our clients to be confident on a skim board and respect our beaches. Special Instructions or Equipment needed: Optional – you can bring your own skim board… But you don’t need to. Evan has enough for the kids!

Bump, set, and spike your way into the game with Coach Evelyn’s Beginner Volleyball Camp! This fun and engaging camp is perfect for young athletes who want to learn the fundamentals of volleyball in a supportive environment.

Campers will work on:

Mangia, mangia! It’s Italian Week at cooking camp with Ms. Leticia! Young chefs will roll up their sleeves to make their own pizzas and cook up classic spaghetti and meatballs. Campers will learn kitchen basics, teamwork, and the delicious joy of Italian cooking—one tasty bite at a time!
