Embark on a scrumptious journey with “Baking Around the World” in our Kids Summer Series! Little chefs will travel the globe, baking mouthwatering treats inspired by new flavors and exciting cultures. Campers will have fun and learn how to take cool pictures in this summer photography workshop. This is a one-day workshop taught by Island resident and professional photographer Jim Rimi. Learn how to take interesting and unique photographs. This is a hands-on workshop! Students start out in the classroom and then venture out to the Bay for real-time instruction. Campers will learn about lenses, lighting, composition, camera angles, and more! Through critique and hands-on camera instruction, the campers will grow their photography skills and learn what makes a good photograph. Perfect for budding young photographers! Space is limited. Sign up today! Campers will be outside, so please dress according to the weather. Campers must have access to a camera, camera phone, or iPad for the entire class session. Please ensure the battery is charged and plenty of memory space to take pictures.

Southeast Elite has placed over 100+ players at the Division I level and several currently in the NBA.
Specialty Camp will include fundamental concepts, skill development, games/competitions, 3v3, 5v5, prizes & much more! Intermediate and Advanced skill development camps will include emphasis on HS/Collegiate offensive concepts, proper shooting form, passing, footwork, defensive principles, pick & roll actions, moving w/o the ball, transition offense, advanced ball handling and more! Athletic and tennis development for students in grades 3rd-5th; foster athletic agility and beginner tennis technique where kids will work in stations to learn stroke production, cultivate hand-eye coordination, fun footwork and improve overall coordination and strength skills.

In this fun and creative workshop, Jim will help campers create interesting, unique, and one-of-a-kind sun prints. Campers are encouraged to bring from home plant clippings, lace, doilies, or other interesting objects to use in their creations. Students will be taught about composition and the best placement to make a pleasing sun print. Campers will be hands-on throughout this entire fun process. Campers will learn how to proudly hang their favorite print on the wall at home! Perfect for your budding young artist! All materials are included in this workshop. Stunt Camp will be led by Brooke Svoboda, a former collegiate Division 1 cheerleader and collegiate/all-star coach, and Erica Nielsen, an experienced cheerleader with 21 years of experience.
At stunt camp, girl’s ages 1st to 9th grade will learn the basics of stunting which include proper hand placement, loading/dismounting techniques, stunt combinations and safe stunting tools. Coaches will emphasize safety, skill development and sportsmanship.
Cheerleading experience is not required but is encouraged.

Are you a Lego builder looking to challenge your creative skills? In our four days we will integrate basic Lego building skills with friendly competition and creativity through a number of challenges. How about building a Lego car with a balloon motor? You will be graded on creativity for this one, distance traveled compared to others! This is just one of the many challenges! Are you up for the task?

The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program gives teens everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting, from starting a business to working with parents and children, to key safety, caregiving, and getting certified with CPR and First Aid through the American Heart Association. Teens must bring a packed lunch.
