The School for Constructive Play (SFCP) is a preschool located within The Center, offering a nurturing, play-based learning environment for young children.
Their Philosophy
Rooted in Jean Piaget’s Theory of Cognitive Development, SFCP believes play is the natural and most effective way for children to learn. Their carefully planned curriculum focuses on the whole child, building self-confidence and creative thinking through diverse, age-appropriate experiences.
Their Programs
SFCP works closely with parents to support growth across three core levels:
- Toddlers (Ages 1–2): A high-energy, loving environment focused on the sensorimotor stage.
- Preschool (Age 3): A warm transition class focusing on early preoperational development.
- VPK (Ages 4–5): A state-funded Kindergarten readiness program using the Creative Curriculum. Aftercare is available.
