Chris Emkey, originally from Pennsylvania, has an extensive background in professional sports and performance training. Throughout his career, he has worked with athletes of all levels, ranging from 7-year-olds to Olympic junior boxing contenders and Olympic gold medalists. A former Division 1 tennis player, Chris competed at the highest level, playing #1 singles and doubles, and continued his journey on the ITF circuit post-college.
Following his competitive tennis career, Chris developed a state-of-the-art, 72,000-square-foot clinically integrated wellness and sports performance facility. The facility featured comprehensive clinical and functional testing and evaluations for both athletes and the general population, along with physicians’ offices, a 14,000-square-foot sports performance center, indoor tennis courts, and a full-service fitness facility. Chris led a team of doctors and staff to create an environment that optimized performance for both general fitness clients and elite professional athletes. Additionally, he collaborated with the President of the YMCA to facilitate the sale of the facility, overseeing the acquisition and successful integration of the YMCA model.
Building on this success, Chris went on to develop a second facility focused on clinical and functional testing and evaluations, functional training, and specialized spaces including boxing rings, UFC cages, and a full range of equipment for boxers, fighters, and general fitness enthusiasts. Beyond his facility work, Chris conducts performance management workshops and certifications both in the United States and internationally, sharing his expertise to help others achieve peak performance.
