“Tuna” Charles Ray McCracken is the Sports Program Manager at The Center of Anna Maria Island, where he oversees both youth and adult sports programs. With a strong focus on ensuring that participants have fun while staying safe, Tuna is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and positive sports environment for all ages.
A native of Anna Maria Island, Tuna grew up playing sports at The Center, creating a deep personal connection to the community he now serves. His background in local sports, combined with his firsthand experience of the community’s needs, gives him a unique perspective on running programs that are both engaging and accessible.
Tuna attended Anna Maria Elementary, Martha B. King Middle School, and Manatee High School, where he built a strong foundation in sports and leadership. His deep ties to the island and passion for creating enjoyable athletic experiences make him an invaluable asset to the Center and the community.
When he’s not at The Center, Tuna enjoys staying active and connecting with others in his community, reflecting his lifelong dedication to sports and well-being.
