The Center of Anna Maria Island hosts a wide range of events throughout the year that bring our community together in fun and meaningful ways. Music lovers won’t want to miss the Bradenton Gulf Island Concert Series, which has featured legendary acts like the Marshall Tucker Band, The Grass Roots, The Wailers, and more. Each fall, we kick off the season with a spirited Bowling Tournament that’s always a hit with locals and visitors alike. A holiday favorite for families, Lester Family Fun Day offers festive cheer with visits from Santa, seasonal crafts, games, and live performances for all ages.

For those who enjoy a little mystery and laughter, our annual Murder Mystery play is a must-see event tailored for our adult audience. In the cooler months of winter and spring, we keep the energy high with Bingo nights—always a fun way to spend an evening. Throughout the year, we also host Family Fun Nights, offering families a chance to unwind, connect, and enjoy playful activities together at The Center.

In 2025, the fishing community lost one of its most respected and influential figures. Captain Jason Stock was more than a charter captain—he was a passionate advocate for reef conservation, a dedicated supporter of family-friendly fishing, and a devoted father to three young daughters.

The 1st Annual Full Send Fishing Tournament – Captain Jason Stock Memorial is a multi-day, multi-species event created to honor Jason’s legacy and love for the water. Designed to be inclusive and welcoming, the tournament features divisions for anglers of all experience levels—ensuring there’s something for everyone, just as Jason would have wanted.

Whether you’re competing, supporting participants, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, this event celebrates community, conservation, and the joy of fishing.
