The Center of Anna Maria Island concluded an extensive search to find our new Director of Development last week. The search ended 
with finding someone who is already a valued member of our community and has been vital to The Center for the last 2.5 years in her role as Director of Customer Service, Jillian Ptak. The search was conducted by Peg Beck of Creative Consulting Associates in Sarasota.
Jillian is a true Florida local. She was born and raised in Bradenton and graduated from Manatee High School. After high school, she attended State College of Florida and majored in Business. Jillian has an extensive background with over twenty years of experience in retail management and customer service. Most recently, Jillian has been serving as the Director of Customer Service for the past two years, which she has enjoyed immensely. She has a passion for creating relationships and building genuine connections with everyone she meets.
Jillian believes in The Center’s mission and wants to have a bigger part in where it’s going. She’s excited to use her expertise in cultivating relationships to help grow the organization’s development efforts. She’s extremely honored to be chosen to lead The Center’s effort.
Not only is Jillian professionally dedicated to the organization, but her husband, a local realtor, and daughter are active members of The Center. Jillian and her husband, Jim Ptak, live in Bradenton, right off the Island. Their daughter, Jade, is very involved in The Center’s Youth programs, attending tumbling classes, all day camps, and playing soccer throughout the year. They all strive to live a healthy and active lifestyle here on Anna Maria Island.
