Join us for the ultimate Summer Camp Spectacular at The Center’s Summer My Way camp! We will be hosting 8 weeks of summer fun where you get to be the boss! Sign up for the weekly sports camp, explore the arts with discovery camp, or set your sails towards a specialty camp! This camp is designed for children headed into kindergarten all the way up to 5th graders! (Ages 5-12). Camp runs June 7th to July 30th. Monday – Friday 8am-6pm.
$185 for non-members/ $170 for Center Members per week
$25 Summer Camp Registration fee for all campers

Discovery: Green Week
Field Trip: Defy
Terrific Teamwork is an emphasis on teamwork and team sports. This week in sports we will practice teambuilding skills and have fun playing team sports. In Discovery, we learn about taking care of the environment on a local level through composting and recycling. Rethink, reuse and reinvent challenge; create something from recycled materials. Friday, all campers will travel to Defy Extreme Air Sports.

Field Trip: Fit Crew
This will be a week of ball sports only in Sports Camps. From kickball, soccer and baseball to speedball marathons. Throw it, catch it, pass it and kick it. Let your imagination lead you in Discovery Camp. Lets’ get messy for the sake of art, from painting to tie-dye to pottery. Friday we will travel to Fit Crew, where the kids will see how fitness can be fun!
Field Trip: G.T. Bray Pool
Celebrate the nations and participate in many of the summer Olympic sports during Sports Camp. In Discovery Camp, live like an astronaut; try space food. While learning about the solar system conduct space related experiments. Friday’s trip will be a dip in the pool at G.T. Bray.

Discovery: Under The Sea
Field Trip: Florida Aquarium
Sports Camp this week is all about speed. Race others, race the clock and race on relay teams. Test your brain and footwork with agility drills and games. Dive in to the marine fun in Discovery Camp, by learning about the sea with its inhabitants from the largest of whales to the tiniest Minos. Learn how to take ocean water samples and design your own mosaic sea turtle. Friday we will travel to Tampa to go to the Florida Aquarium.
Discovery: Super Slueths
Field Trip: Bowlero
Sports Camp will be dodgeball, dodgeball and more dodgeball. A week playing various versions and styles of dodgeball. Use your critical thinking skills to investigate mysteries and your master mind to solve the trickiest of riddles in Discovery Camp. Calling all the observant, analytical problem solvers to jump in to the fun of playing detective. Time to try to get a strike at Bowlero on our Friday trip.
Specialty Camp: Archery Camp: Monday-Thursday. July 5-8. 9am-12pm. Ages 5-12. Cost: Members: $75/ Non-members: $90. Learn the basics of Archery from A to Z thru exciting games aimed to sharpen your skills. Pop balloons filled with surprises, partner challenges and more.
Sport: World Cup
Field Trip: Astro Skate
Sports Camp is all about celebrating the nations and the love of soccer. The focus will be playing soccer and there will be a mini tournament and soccer contests on Thursday. Discovery Camp will be about experiments and labs to keep the most inquisitive of young scientist busy, make your own slime and more. Time to get your skates on for a trip to Astro Skate
Specialty Camp: Drama Camp (this is a two week camp commitment): July 12-15 & July 19- 23. Week 1: Monday-Thursday and Week 2 Monday-Friday. 9am-12pm (1pm & 7pm performances on 7/23/21). Cost: Members: $260/ Non-members $275. Ages: 6-13. Bring out your creative side in this nine-day camp held at Island Players Theatre. For ages 6-13. Shine in the limelight on stage complete with sets and costumes. This camp includes two performances that are open to the public on Friday, July 23rd at 1pm and 7pm.
Sport: Relays, Races and Obstacles
Field Trip: AMI Players and Dips Ice Cream
A fun-filled week of races, relays and obstacle courses in Sports Camp this week. Celebrate the indigenous people of the Amazon and this amazing ecosystem, from food, music, and traditions to ceremonies and survival skills in Discovery Camp. Make artwork inspired by rainforest plants and animals; make a rain stick. End this week by watching our friends at Drama Camp put on their show that they have been working on and then a trip for ice cream
Specialty Camp: Fit Crew: July 19–22. Monday-Thursday. 12pm-4pm (this time includes travel time). Cost: Members: $120/ Non-members $135. Ages: 6-12. There will not be a dull moment with this fitness forward week. Get moving with games, sports, strength training activities and endurance building exercises. Learn the science behind exercise in a fun, nontraditional way and how to optimize the power of all your muscle groups.

Sport: Beach Week
Discovery: Creepy Crawly
Field Trip: Center Fun Day
Sports Camp will emphasis on sports played at the beach and fun in the sun. Discovery Camp will observe the life cycle of butterflies and a real ant farm. Make a delicious edible worm surprise. Friday we will celebrate the end of summer with tons of fun.
Specialty Camp: Fishing Camp: July 26– 29. Monday-Thursday. 9am-12pm. Cost: Members: $90/ Non-members $105. Ages: 5-12. Explore our beautiful local waters. Learn to tie knots, bait, caste and reel. Beginner or more advanced you will make friends while waiting for your big catch. Must bring your own fishing pole.

Drop-off time is no earlier than 8am. When dropped off the caregiver must walk child in and sign them in. Please arrive at 8:45am to sign in for any specialty camps, that run 9am-12pm, or off-site field trip days. Pick-up time is no later than 6:00pm. Late pick-ups are subject to charges defined in the registration packet and parent handbook. In case of emergency, please call The Center if there is going to be a late drop-off or pick-up. If you need to add someone to your pick-up list please email [email protected] and ensure they are approved prior to day of intended pick-up.
Any changes in scheduling must be confirmed in writing no later than the Thursday prior to the week of the schedule change.
