Lisa Coba was born in California but raised in Florida, Pennsylvania and Georgia. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a B.A. of Journalism and a minor in Art, she moved back to Orlando, FL and met her husband, Oskar. They moved to Tampa and started a family, all the while spending lots of time in Anna Maria Island at their family’s home. In 2014, they decided to make one last trek over the bridge and start a new life on the island to raise their daughter Savanna. The Center has played a huge role in helping them meet great people and forge new friendships for the whole family.
Lisa has worked in many areas over the years from the restaurant business,to customer service and event/promotion planning, to current preschool teacher. She has always had a love for the arts and has worked with children in specialty camps and drama performance camps that exemplified this. Lisa really believes in the Center and all that it has to offer this magical island of ours. She hopes to help guide and inspire our youth and provide them with a welcoming place to spend their time and create new memories.
